Card Linking via Plaid. GETSLOCAL offers the facility to collect rewards via card linking. By opting to linking via Plaid to facilitate rewards, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer of your data between GETSLOCAL and Plaid and you retain the right to unlink your card at any time.
When you connect your financial accounts through Plaid’s card linking service we collect the following information directly from Plaid from the financial accounts that you specifically authorized and linked:
Account information, including financial institution name, account name, and account type.
Information regarding account transactions, including amount, date, payee, type, quantity, price, location, and a description of the transaction.
Please note that any information you provide to Plaid in the process of linking your account is not visible or collected by us. GETSLOCAL only have access to information that Plaid shares with us after your financial account is connected. GETSLOCAL, our service providers, and other third parties with whom we do business can collect information about you from publicly and commercially available resources. We can combine that information with the information described above and will handle the combined information as described in this Privacy Policy.

We do not sell or rent information about the friends to whom you forward articles or information, and we use your friends’ names and email addresses only for the purpose of forwarding information subject to your request.

When you register for our services, you are able to indicate your preferences regarding marketing communications on the Notification Settings page, you are able to amend your preferences and select the categories of communications that interest you.
When we or our affiliates, third parties, merchants and members send you emails or notifications containing offers that may be of interest to you, you can opt out of receiving these communications by amending your account preferences. Please note that you will not be able to opt-out of receiving certain services or transactional communications relating to your account unless you cancel your registration or account. Please note if you wish to close your account, that a GETSLOCAL rewards account cannot be deleted if it has any transactions or vouchers created in the account. This is to ensure that customer data and transaction history are maintained for accurate reporting and analysis. However, customers may still choose to close their rewards account upon request. To do so, please contact our support team for assistance. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
